Monthly Favorites: Feb 2014

It's that time of the month again.
Once again, prepare for a slew of visuals.

Isabel Marant sneaker wedges
After hunting for a pair of black Isabel Marants for absolute ages & being put on countless waitlists, I finally get to cross it off my wish list. Thank you Selfridges. I've donned them probably one too many times since. Though the wedge on them may seem daunting, they're surprisingly comfortable. Comfortable enough to pass of as everyday shoes. No doubt, I also get a weird sense of satisfaction out of being taller than several guys whenever I don these shoes.

OPI Lincoln Park after Midnight
Bought this since I need to branch out from using red & pink shades on my nails. This is the ultimate dark shade & suits any skin tone.

#03
EOS lip balm
Can't remember if I've included this in a previous favorites' post. Anyhow, the air is still dry so this is definitely an essential for keeping the chapped lips at bay, especially since I've sensitive lips.

#04
NutriBullet
Not going to say too much about this as there will be an upcoming post on this contraption.
Been really enjoying using this to churn out delicious fruit smoothies to substitute the usual soft drinks.

#05
Mark Hill Hairdryer

After a charred smell wafted out of my previous hair dryer, I decided not to take the risk & immediately invested in a new one. Definitely want to avoid an Einstein hairstyle at all costs.
Sales person mentioned that they actually use these kind of hairdryers in hair salons & used a bunch of foreign hairdryer-related jargon to explain.
Comes with 3 attachments + heat & wind setting is also adjustable according to your preference.
Got mine in the Zebra print. If I were to be a hairdryer, this would be it.

K-dramas, K-variety shows, K-pop, K-food

I know I'm late in catching the (Hallyu) wave - pun thoroughly intended.

What started out as something akin to mere research (to see what the fuss about was amongst my friends), turned into me being sucked into their watching all 20 episodes of The Heirs in under 4 days.

K-dramas I've watched recently: The Heirs, Boys over Flowers, Emergency Couple

The Heirs

Boys Over Flowers

Emergency Couple

I really enjoy watching their variety shows as well. They completely appeal to my sense of humor.
Just to name a few, watch Running Man, Hello Counselor, Mamma Mia, Hello Baby, We Got Married, Dad where are you going?.

Of course, the oppas do not hurt your eyes too.
Time to spam the visuals:
Lee Min Ho

Kim Hyun Joong

Choi Jin Hyuk

SHINee

2PM

Lets just hope that if I ever marry one of them, they're never come across this post & find out I used to be a "fan girl". Hah.

Lets not forget the food.
After watching Korean shows, you'll naturally start to crave Korean food due to the numerous cooking scenes.
Visual spam, again:

Ddukbokki

Sam Gae Tang (Ginseng chicken soup)

Kimchi jiigae

No better way to end a post than with food.
