Been battling time zones after flying back to the UK last week.
Settling in and getting back into the swing of things has taken up quite a fair bit of my time, which is why this space has been neglected for awhile..
On a bittersweet note, this officially marks the start of my last year in university.
After having a sample of working life this past summer, I'm definitely planning on making the most of the remaining time I've left as a student.
To kick off our last year in law school, some of my friends and I decided to have dinner at James Martin restaurant. Being a celebrity chef, I'm sure many are familiar with James Martin's name. Of all places, James Martin's name-sake restaurant is tucked away at the back of a casino. I've finally stepped into a casino after 20 years of existence (well if just walking past just to get to the restaurant counts).
Had a full 3 course meal as I was feeling rather greedy....
For starters, I had the thai risotto which was flavorful yet not too rich.
James Martin's wagyu beef steak was cooked to perfection - succulent, tender and juicy.
Will definitely be back to satisfy future steak cravings!
Even though I was stuffed by then, I just had to make room for dessert after the outstanding starter and main. Definitely did not regret getting the bread and butter pudding for dessert!
Whilst everyone decided to wear dresses, I stuck to pants, just because I'm wasn't prepared to expose my legs to the chilly conditions of Manchester....
To glam up my look without risking being too overdressed, I mixed textures by pairing my leather pants with a fur shrug thrown over my basic black sweater. The slightest hint of fur has a way of instantly amping any outfit in the glamour stakes.
Yay or nay to the marriage of leather and fur?
Sweater: Izzue, Leather pants: Kendall&Kylie for Pacsun, Fur Shrug, Mini Bag: Prada, Boots: Topshop
Fur riding hood?

Some extra snaps with my friends!
Needless to say, as with any girls night out with my friends, it was a fun time!
Can't believe I've already known them for 2 years. Time flew by, if only there were a way to stall time.
Here's to making more memories in our last year.
