Happy 49th Birthday, Singapore!
No matter where I am, I'll always call Singapore home.
There is still room for improvement, but we should not discount the progress we've made - from a tiny fishing village to a vibrant city, Singapore has truly transformed by leaps and bounds in our 49 years of independence.
Living abroad has made me realize how truly lucky we are to live in the harmonious "bubble" that is Singapore.
