Noir {#OOTD}

Just a short post on a random outfit I threw together for dinner one evening when I was back in Singapore last month.
Miss dressing up in Singapore's weather instead of being all bundled up and wrapped in layers upon layers in the sub-zero winter weather over here in the UK..

//Outfit details at the end of this post//

Top: Topshop // Velvet lace shorts: Topshop // Vest: Korea // Bag: Balenciaga // Heels: Saint Laurent

Can I just say, these pair of Saint Laurent heels are one of the comfiest pair of heels I've ever owned! Managed to even walk (or should I say totter.. lol) around in a mall in these for a good couple of hours, which is quite a feat in itself for a klutz like me.. Definitely worth the investment imo! You know what they say, "good shoes take you to good places". ;)

More posts to come in the very near future so do keep a look out for them!

HAUL (ft. Harrods & YSL)

Having insomnia is not always the best. But as the old saying goes, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade". So when my mom and I couldn't sleep one night, we decided to online shop instead! (sorry not sorry, father)..

Thought I would just share some of the things we ordered online from Harrods, because frankly, who doesn't enjoy reading/watching hauls?

A very interesting cardboard box....

Ordered 2 bracelets from Valentino + an iphone 5 case from Stella McCartney!

1) Valentino - Rockstar wide bracelet (RED x gold studs)

If you've seen my latest outfit of the day post, this made an appearance.
I love anything red and this is no different. It gives a pop of color to any plain outfit.
This is part of Valentino's newest season, which is probably why I haven't seen too many people wearing this - so if this starts becoming a hot item, you know who started it first ;) hahah

2) Valentino - Rockstar wide bracelet (BLACK x gold studs)

Evidently, you can never have too many colors ;)

3) Stella McCartney - iphone 5 case

Let's just say your phone will not be falling out of this case anytime soon - not necessarily a negative though. At least your phone will be secure.
But although its slightly difficult when taking out your phone, this strap attached to the inside of the phone case is meant to make it easier when pulling out your phone.
Anyways, I'm sure once you've used this case over a period of time, the leather will start to stretch out and it'll probably get easier to take out your phone overtime.

Got these YSL arty rings recently as well. If you've read my earlier posts, you would've probably figured out that I'm more or less an arty addict. Couldn't resist adding more colors to my YSL arty collection. My excuse - they're no longer in production so I might as well! (as some might say.. YOLO)

1) Dark blue stone x gold plated

I've been wanting to get this color for ages but haven't really seen it around. So when I laid my eyes on this, I just had to snap it up!
I especially love the subtle gold specks in the dark blue stone! ahhhh, what a beauty.

2) YSL Arty version 2.0 (?)
I'd like to think of this ring as the (not-so) ugly duckling of the bunch.
I probably should know all the arty jargon.. but I don't. Is it called the YSL Arty as well? If anyone knows, please let me know.
Anyways, I thought this was quite a unique piece, especially since all my other arty rings are the same design despite being different colors.
This also has more of a vintage feel to it than the regular arty rings.

the ring ft. my cupcake nails!
I digress but can I just say something? I can't believe I've had these nails for the past 3 weeks now.. they're still looking as good as new despite my nails having grown quite alot. No signs of chipping whatsoever. Also quite surprised that the 3D rainbows are still intact and have not budged, considering how rough I can be at times.. hahh.

3) Coral x gold plated
Initially, I thought I wouldn't like this color as much as the rest. Now, it's actually one of my favorites!

ps/. Luxurazzi was selling the dark blue + coral arty rings on our instagram page. However, we've sold out as we only had 1 piece of each and as they're no longer in production, they are especially popular.
But fret not! If YOU would still like an arty ring, follow us at luxurazzi on instagram (www.instagram.com/luxurazzi) as we'll be posting more arty rings + other items soon!
& since you're reading this.... you can be the first to get your hands on them! You can pre-order! :) To pre-order, simply email luxurazzi@hotmail.com to say you're interested & we'll send you an email with all the different design options you can choose from!
100% authentic + brand new!

Sunday funday!

Finally went to the The Grandstand at Turf City, home to the many up and coming eateries - i.e. Pasarbella and Omakase burger. It was my first time here as I can't drive (YET) and as it's slightly off the beaten track for me, its harder to access than most other places..

Had dinner with my family at M.A.D (Modern Asian Dining)
Here are some food pictures to make your tummy growl ;)

iPad menu

Seeing as how this restaurant is part-owned by Dick Lee (he's a famous local singer), I wonder whether this picture is supposed to resemble him in the slightest.. hahah ;)

Mussels!

Truffle fries - Round #01

Truffle fries - Round #02!

My mom's main course - Lamb
I'm not a big fan of lamb so I didn't taste this but apparently this was pretty average..
Also, the portion was surprisingly small for a main course..

Dad's main course - Baby back ribs

Foie gras & wagyu beef claypot rice
Someone tell me this doesn't look like it's from Fat Cow....
Nonetheless, my brother who had this dish as his main seemed to enjoy it!
At $27, being cheaper than Fat Cow, I guess you can't go wrong!

Wagyu beef w/ onsen tamago (runny egg) claypot rice
My main course!
Again, this reminds me of the wagyu beef bowl I always order whenever I go to Fat Cow..
I just be biased but overall, I prefer Fat Cow's version. This is nearly as good though!
Again at $27, it is cheaper than Fat Cow so that's a plus.

After dinner, we headed to PasarBella Farmer's Market to take a walk.. I don't know if it was because it was a Sunday or if it was because we got that there later in the evening but most of the stalls were closed.. I was also planning on sampling the food but after the dinner at MAD, I was too full to eat let alone look at more food..
Planning to make another trip down to PasarBella soon though so keep an eye out for that in a separate post in the near future ;)

Preach!

Live lobsters at the live seafood section!
Is it weird that I wanted to take one home to keep as a pet..?

Pink fire hosereel's have to be shared with the rest of the world!

Outfit of the day (OOTD) time!
What I wore out for dinner with my family today.
Kept it rather casual since it was only for dinner.

Blouse : French Connection (FCUK)
Tweed shorts : Topshop ~ I feel like they could pass for being something from Chanel!
Bag : Prada mini (again.... haha it has fast become my go-to bag since getting it)
Ring : YSL arty ring (selling an arty ring on www.instagram.com/luxurazzi btw! go check it out if you're interested)
Earings : Chanel
Bracelet : Tiffany & Co charm bracelet
Shoes : (not pictured) just wore a pair of ballet flats.. nothing too fancy as it was a pretty casual outing..

For makeup I'm not wearing anything on my face except for red lippy. It's from YSL, under the Rouge Pur Couture line in shade #01. In case you guys are wondering about the color, I would say that it is a true red.
I feel like red lips just amp up the look and makes it look like you at least put in some effort.. haha

SELLING - YSL Arty ring ♡♡

If you've read one of my previous posts, you will know that I am a big fan & an avid collector of YSL arty rings - pretty much their spokesperson (voluntarily). Well, I'm really just a big lover of almost anything YSL/Saint Laurent's in general. I got my first arty ring over 2 years ago now, and have been in love ever since. Not only that, my first ever arty ring is still in mint condition.

Whenever I'm wearing a plain outfit, I always put this ring on. It's so interesting how a ring can complete your whole outfit.
Even though it is a 'luxury', the price is pretty reasonable especially for a signature designer item which will remain timeless.
Every girl should have a YSL arty ring. It's always going to be a classic piece - I can envision this ring being passed down to my future generations as a "vintage" heirloom.

I'm selling this YSL arty ring at $380 (Singapore dollars). Usual retail price is $400.
100% authentic + brand new. It comes in the classic YSL packaging - box + dust bag.
Local + international delivery is available.
I may even be throwing in a sneaky free gift as well ;)

This ring is sold out in many places, including local YSL boutiques as it is not in production anymore. So if you're lusting over it and interested, email me at luxurazzi@hotmail.com or search for luxurazzi on LINE (download the app on your phone if you don't have it already), before someone else snaps it up seeing as how it is quite a hot item!
